The Opportunity
The Problem
Gartner reports only 6% of enterprises have moved generative AI past pilot into production. Microsoft's own data shows fewer than 4 in 10 employees with Copilot access use it actively. That gap is where the work lives.

What We Do
One team covering Microsoft Copilot consulting end to end: strategy, deployment, custom agents, and adoption.
Strategy & Advisory
We identify the Copilot use cases with the highest ROI for your business, then build the roadmap and the case your CFO needs to expand it. That includes use case envisioning workshops, licensing strategy, and a phased deployment plan tied to measurable outcomes. You get a Copilot strategy your leadership team can defend, not a slide deck that dies in a drawer.
Data Readiness & Governance
Permission audits, sensitivity labeling, oversharing remediation. The unglamorous work that keeps you out of the news. We run a full Copilot readiness assessment across SharePoint and OneDrive, remediate the access nobody meant to grant, and set up the Microsoft Purview controls that keep your tenant clean as Copilot scales. Governance documented well enough for your auditors.
Copilot Studio & Custom Agents
Agents grounded in your data, connected to your systems, built with the audit trails that hold up in compliance review. Our engineers design, build, and maintain custom Copilot Studio agents for the workflows generic Copilot cannot touch: claims intake, underwriting support, case management, internal knowledge. If the agent needs to talk to Dynamics 365 or your data warehouse, we build the connection.
Adoption & Change Management
Role-specific training and champion networks. Adoption is most of the work in any Copilot rollout. We build prompt libraries by role, stand up champion programs, and track active usage against the thresholds that produce ROI. When usage flatlines, we find out why and fix it. The goal is Copilot embedded in daily workflows, not licenses gathering dust.
Copilot Tools We Support
Microsoft Copilot consulting across the full ecosystem. Whichever Copilot you bought, we make it produce.
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Copilot in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. We handle deployment, tenant readiness, and the training that turns licenses into daily habits.
Copilot Studio
Custom agents built in Copilot Studio, grounded in your data and connected to your systems. Designed, built, and maintained by engineers.
Copilot Agents & Agent 365
Agent governance from day one. Registration, observability, and access controls for every agent running in your tenant.
Dynamics 365 Copilot
AI inside your CRM. We pair Copilot with our Microsoft Dynamics consulting practice to put insights where sellers and service teams work.
Explore our Microsoft Dynamics consulting servicesMicrosoft Security Copilot
Faster triage and investigation for security teams. Deployment, prompt libraries, and integration with your existing security stack.
GitHub Copilot
Rollouts that measure real developer productivity, not just seat counts. Policies, training, and metrics your engineering leaders trust.
Copilot for Sales
Connect Copilot to your CRM data so sellers get call summaries, meeting prep, and pipeline context without leaving Outlook or Teams.
Copilot Chat & Extensibility
Grounded chat, connectors, and plugins that reach beyond Microsoft 365. We scope what to extend and build what pays off.
How We Implement Microsoft Copilot
A four-phase Copilot implementation methodology built for regulated environments. Clear deliverables at every step.
1. Assess
A Copilot readiness assessment covering permissions, sensitivity labels, and data exposure. We audit your tenant, find the oversharing, and map the use cases worth building. Deliverable: a prioritized roadmap and remediation plan, typically in 2-3 weeks.
2. Prove
A focused pilot with a defined use case and success metrics. Champions selected, prompts built, results measured against baseline. Deliverable: pilot results and the business case your CFO will actually read.
3. Build
Deployment at scale plus custom Copilot Studio agents where off-the-shelf falls short. Governance, audit trails, and compliance controls built in from the start. Deliverable: production rollout with documented guardrails.
4. Embed
Role-specific training, champion networks, and adoption tracking. We stay until usage holds above the threshold that produces ROI. Deliverable: an adoption dashboard and a handoff your team can run.
Copilot for Regulated Industries
Copilot governance is different when regulators read your audit trails. SingleStone has spent 28+ years serving regulated industries, so we build Copilot rollouts that survive compliance review.
Financial Services
Copilot deployments that respect SEC, FINRA, and GLBA obligations. Data governance first, productivity second, in that order for a reason.

Public sector tenants carry public records obligations. We deploy Copilot with the access controls and documentation agencies need.

The questions we hear most from IT leaders and executives planning a Copilot rollout.
How long does a Microsoft Copilot implementation take?
A readiness assessment runs 2-3 weeks. A pilot with defined use cases takes 4-6 weeks. Full deployment with training and adoption support typically lands between 3 and 6 months depending on tenant size, data hygiene, and how many custom agents you build.
How much does Microsoft Copilot consulting cost?
Engagements scale with scope. A readiness assessment is a fixed-fee starting point. Pilots and full implementations are scoped after we see your tenant. Licenses are separate: Microsoft 365 Copilot runs $30 per user per month, and the ROI depends on adoption, which is where the consulting earns its keep.
What should we fix before deploying Copilot?
Permissions. Copilot inherits whatever access SharePoint and OneDrive already grant, and in most tenants that is too much. Clean up oversharing, apply sensitivity labels, and define your first use cases before a single license goes live.
Is Microsoft Copilot secure for regulated industries?
Yes, when the rollout is engineered for it. Copilot respects your existing Microsoft 365 permissions and does not train foundation models on your data. The real risk is internal oversharing, not external leakage. Our governance work closes that gap and documents it for auditors.
What is the difference between Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio?
Microsoft 365 Copilot is the assistant inside Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Copilot Studio is the platform for building custom agents grounded in your own data and systems. Most companies need both: the first for broad productivity, the second for the workflows that move revenue.
What licenses do we need for Microsoft Copilot?
Microsoft 365 Copilot requires an eligible Microsoft 365 plan such as E3 or E5, plus the Copilot add-on. Copilot Studio, Security Copilot, and GitHub Copilot are licensed separately. We map licensing to your actual use cases so you only buy what produces.
Why do Copilot rollouts fail?
Three patterns: no defined use case, no adoption plan, and messy permissions. Fewer than 4 in 10 employees with access use Copilot actively when it launches without champions and training. Every phase of our methodology exists to prevent one of these failure modes.
Do you build custom Copilot agents?
Yes. Custom agent development in Copilot Studio is core to our practice: agents grounded in your data, connected to your systems, and shipped with the audit trails compliance teams expect. If Copilot out of the box cannot do the job, we build the agent that can.

Whether you've bought licenses and adoption is flat, you're trying to build your first custom agent, or you're staring at a tenant full of oversharing risk, we've worked through it. Tell us where you are. We'll come with a point of view.
