The growth plans of a specialty insurer were hindered by a highly fragmented digital presence with close to 40 sites, disparate brand experiences, and outdated technology. SingleStone was engaged by the client to develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that would address these challenges and drive increased revenue.

Crafting a Consistent Digital Experience

Using a combination of competitor and customer research, SingleStone began by identifying customer needs and existing gaps. With that foundation, we partnered with the client to develop a digital strategy that defined and promoted brand consistency, improved customer experience, and positioned the digital channel to drive sales through the following tactics: 

  • Built a reusable, multichannel content system allowing the client to effectively manage multiple sites for different specialty products
  • Allowed for the ability to promote related products through cross-selling, personalization, and federated search across multiple web properties 
  • Leveraged the Sitecore Customer Experience Platform and Coveo Enterprise Search to improve user experience

The company’s new sites delivered an improved user experience and created the foundation to test and learn with new functionality and content. Due to the improved user experience, the expected annual premium increase is $3.3MM.
